"I wrote the book. They published the book. Why do I have to sell it, too?" Sound familiar? Whether you are self-published or published by a major publishing
house, writing the book is only the start. Part of every writer's job is to help sell the book. With the exception of
a few very high profile (read: "highly profitable") writers you can expect little in the way of marketing support
from a publishing company. A large company has too many projects per year to launch a major marketing push for every one of
them. Smaller publishers don't have the resources to do so. Even the best marketing support, though, requires engagement by the author. I do marketing support for publishers
and authors. I can write the brochures, design the websites, even send out the press releases. However, writers need to be
part of the process. They need to help identify places to send those press releases. They need to be available for lectures
and book signings. They need to engage with readers using the tools of Web 2.0. This website is about helping you develop some of those skills. We will be posting articles about
promotion, marketing and web design. Keep coming back. New material will be available throughout the month. If along the way,
you decide you would rather let us take on some of the load, that's good too. Just click on the services link above to find out more about how we can help you market your book.
